【NIPPON MADE】A new brush-coated item for special advance sale at Isetan Men’s！

Onitsuka Tiger’s NIPPON MADE series had a special pop up promotion at Mitsukoshi Isetan’s “JAPAN SENSES”, a new project designed to exhibit and redefine Japan’s best features.
On the B1 basement floor of Isetan Shinjuku Men’s Building (gentlemen’s shoes), visitors found a special temporary stage set up from the 7th to the 13th.

The NIPPON MADE series was launched in 2008 by Onitsuka Tiger, with the aim of introducing a specialty line showing everything down to the miniscule details of Japanese craftsmanship. Centering on Japanese leather, distinguished artisans carefully craft their shoes bit by bit. With the concept of “the Real Japan”, they strive to highlight the fine details and features hidden in the painstaking process of high-quality Japanese craft.

Along with this new Japan Senses project, Isetan Shinjuku had a special limited advance sale of the ULTIMATE TRAINER SH, a new brush-coated model. The brush strokes leave a gradation on the surface that results in a plaster-like 3-D appearance. The brush coating, all produced by hand, means that no two pairs of this shoe are exactly alike. How wonderful to have your very own, original hand-crafted shoes.

Also from the ULTIMATE TRAINER SH is a special shark sole model with camouflage, a fun new option that’s out now. The thick shark sole makes for a sporty shape enhanced with a fashionista flair.

Also, check out the “Kobe cow” leather. This top-shelf shoe features fine, smooth material, and a luxurious gloss. There are two models, a very sharp FABRE DELUXE, and the TIGER ALLY, with an outer sole that has a hot red accent.
