【Event】“KICKS MUSEUM” sneaker exhibit at Daikanyama Tsutaya
KICKS MUSEUM, featured in fashion and lifestyle magazine “GRIND”, is a sneaker design exhibition. It can be seen at DAIKANYAMA T-SITE in the Garden Gallery from May 10th to 14th.
This exhibition is part two by the chief designer “Ollie”, an affiliate who oversaw the July 2016 show, for which he received accolades. And Onitsuka Tiger was back for this one too!
The theme for the event is “No matter how many pairs of shoes I get, there’s one special pair, which I wear all the time and is my favorite, with a personal story behind it.” There will be a photo display of original models chosen by top shoe designers, with background stories explaining about the shoe and why it’s their favorite.
Plus there will be all kinds of sneaker care items by specialty brand “JASON MARKK” and other special event goods for sale. This special event is going to be jam-packed with sneaker fans!
A five-day exhibition of rare and valuable sneakers. For sneaker aficionados, and even the casual fan, this is going to be a great event. If you’re out and about anyway, pop by for a look.
