Fashion show Japan Genki Project 2015 “Super Energy!!”, produced by fashion designer Kansai Yamamoto, was held at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo on the 12th.

With “spreading the good vibes” as the theme, the show featured approximately 200 big names, including model Kozue Akimoto, former gymnast Yukio Iketani, techno artist Ken Ishii, actress Miyuki Matsuda, rock singer Yuya Uchida, candle artist Candle Jun, the comedy duo Jaru Jaru, and many more. The show also featured original clothing from Kansai Yamamoto’s archive collection and a range of performances that lit up the stage.

 
Another highlight of the show was a student wind instrument band, with all the students wearing Onitsuka Tiger sneakers! It was a night of energetic stage performances, and unique acts, backed by the voice of Kansai Yamamoto.
 

The big launch of these shoes created from a collaboration project between Kansai Yamamoto and Onitsuka Tiger is still fresh in our minds.

It was a lovely fashion show, with 60 minutes of hot performances to spread the good vibes for Japan.
