What do you think of Onitsuka Tiger?Ren: They’re really popular in Korea. When I tried them, I thought they were really nice, especially their shoes. If I have the chance, I want to wear them at the airport next time.
Minhyun: Onitsuka Tiger is popular with regular people as well as celebrities. My sister is a big fan, I think I’ve seen at least three pairs of them at home.
Where do you want to visit in Japan?JR: I want to go to Tokyo Disneyland! It has so many characters and attractions, you can’t find a theme park like it in Korea, so I definitely want to check it out!
Baekho: I want to go to Roppongi. There isn’t anything in particular I want to do there, I just want to go and hang out there with the other members.
Could you give a message to your fans about anything coming up in Japan?Aron: Our debut single, Shalala Ring, will be on sale starting November 5th!
JR: Shalala Ring is a song that was made to keep the person you love happy. It’s a really fresh tune, I hope everyone checks it out!
All members: We are going to continue working hard for our fans in Japan, so we would really appreciate your support!
NU’EST, a K-pop boy band consisting of five members with an average age of 19, is made up of: Ren, a pretty boy with a very androgynous look; JR, known for his good dancing and orthodox features; Baekho is muscular with a cute smile; Aron, raised in Los Angeles, has a caring big brother demeanor; and Minhyun has long, narrow eyes and a beautiful, high-pitched voice. The group name, NU’EST, is an acronym made up of NU, or “new”, E is for established, S is for style, and T is for tempo, and means a new style that is synced with the music.
